Track Teams Record Top Finishes at New England Division III Championships

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College track teams posted several outstanding finishes at the New England Division III Championships this weekend.

The Polar Bear men finished 7th of 26 teams at Springfield College while the women's team earned 9th place of 30 squads at Smith College.

Individually, Erin Silva took 2nd in pole vault (3.80 meters) while Hayleigh Kein placed 6th in high jump (1.60 meters). Bowdoin had a pair of excellent relay results, as the Distance Medley team of Aly Fulton, Naomi Jabouin, Demi Feder and Sarah Kelley took 2nd (12:18.19) while the 4x800 meter squad of Fulton, Kelley, Meghan Bellerose, Feder was 4th (9:37.26).

Brian Greenberg had the top individual finish by taking 3rd in the triple jump (13.83 meters). Jacob Ellis was 4th in 800 meters (1:55.63) while Chris Genco earned 4th in the long jump (6.79 meters). The men's Distance Medley relay team of Calvin Henry, Liam Nicoll, Ellis and Conor Donahue was 2nd in 10:25.59.
