CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Bowdoin College men's tennis team bounced back from its first defeat of the season to blank NESCAC foe Trinity on Thursday, 9-0.
The Polar Bears improve to 5-1 on the season with the victory.
- Bowdoin led 3-0 after doubles action, led by a 8-1 win from Kyle Wolfe/Jerry Jiang. Luke Tercek/Grant Urken claimed a 8-4 win and Gil Roddy/Justin Patel took a 9-8 victory for the Polar Bears.
- The Polar Bears earned five straight-set wins in singles play. As Tercek, Luke Carstens, Patel, Luis Cuervo and Aidan McGrory claimed sweeps. Kyle Wolfe won a three-setter to complete the Bowdoin victory.
- Bowdoin will return to action on Friday against Denison.
