Bowdoin Tennis Teams Earn ITA Academic Awards

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College tennis teams have been recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for their work in the classroom during the 2014-15 academic year.

Both Polar Bear squads were honored as ITA All-Academic Team recipients, recognizing a team cumulative GPA of 3.20 or over. In addition, nine students were tabbed with the ITA Scholar-Athlete award, highlighting individuals with an academic-year GPA of 3.50 or greater.

From the men's team Luke Tercek, Luke Trinka, Kyle Wolfe and Kyle Wolstencroft earned the exclusive honor. The women's team had Emma Chow, Pilar Giffenig, Kyra Silitch, Samantha Stalder and Tess Trinka net Scholar-Athlete status.
