Men's Tennis Starts Season Against Top Competition at Brown Invitational

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Bowdoin College men's tennis team opened its year against Division I competition at the Brown Invitational last weekend.

Noah Bragg had a strong weekend in singles action, going 3-1 while winning the Flight 1 consolation final against teammate Chase Savage. Bragg also went 2-1 in doubles with first-year Kyle Wolfe as they also won the consolation finals in Flight 2. Rookie Gil Roddy played well, posting a 3-1 record in the Flight 4 singles bracket and finishing 3rd out of 16 players in his draw.

Bowdoin was the only Division III team competing against Division I/II competition of Brown, Boston University, Bryant, Colgate, Marist, UConn, and Merrimack.

The Polar Bears will return to action on September 26-28 at the ITA Championships hosted by Middlebury.
