LONGMEADOW, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's tennis team won the first three singles matches decided to pull away for a 5-1 win over MIT in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament Saturday in a match played at Grande Meadow Tennis Club.
HADLEY, Mass. - Middlebury will pursue its seventh overall conference title this weekend when the Panthers battle the field at the NESCAC Men’s Tennis Championship. The 2014 edition of the tournament opens on Friday, May 2 at Bowdoin with first round action between Trinity and Bowdoin along with Tufts and Williams. Winners from Friday will advance to Saturday’s semifinals and face either Middlebury or Amherst. The NESCAC Men’s Tennis Championship will come to a close on Sunday, May 4 at 1 p.m.
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bates College men's tennis team jumped to a 3-0 lead after doubles play and held off a Bowdoin rally in singles action to take its first win over the Polar Bears since 2007 in a 5-4 victory Wednesday afternoon.
