Polar Bears Slam Conn. College in Home Opener

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's tennis team was victorious in their first home match of the season, an 8-1 victory over Connecticut College on Sunday. The Polar Bears, ranked 11th in the latest national poll, win their fourth-straight match and improve to 6-2 while the Camels fall to 4-3 this season.

Bowdoin claimed two of the doubles matches before sweeping all five singles pairings. Alex White teamed with Tyler Anderson to win at #2 doubles before winning his #3 singles match. Josh Cranin also claimed a pair of points for Bowdoin, earning a doubles point with Alex Jacobs at #3 and collecting a victory at #2 singles.

The Polar Bears will return to action at Colby on April 3.
