BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College men's tennis players McAfee Burke and Garrett Gates have qualified for the NCAA Individual Championship beginning on May 21 in Santa Cruz, California. Burke was one of 32 individual qualifiers and will team with Gates as one of 16 doubles teams competing for the National Championship.
Burke won the NESCAC Men's Tennis Singles Championship and paired with Gates to claim the NESCAC Doubles crown as well. He is 19-9 this season, while the doubles pairing has posted a mark of 14-12. Their opponents will be available when draw sheets are posted later this week.
