Ted Mebust Named NESCAC Men's Swimming Performer of the Week

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin sophomore Ted Mebust (Cooperstown, N.Y.) has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week.

In a highly-competitive season-opening meet with WPI and MIT on Saturday, Mebust swam a solid backstroke leg of the 200 medley relay (23.92), finished third in the 50 freestyle (21.30), second in the 100 freestyle (47.20), and capped off the meet with a competitive lead-off leg in the 400 freestyle relay (47.45).

The Polar Bears will return to the pool on December 6-7 when they host the Maine State Meet at Greason Pool.
