BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's squash team split their opening matches of the season last weekend, falling to Bates 9-0 but defeating Connecticut College 8-1.
The Polar Bears (1-1) are ranked 27th in the nation in the latest College Squash Association poll.
Weekend Highlights
- The Polar Bears battled well against the 16th-ranked Bobcats, but couldn't muster a win. Tyler Shonrock and Uday Khanna forcing fourth sets in their losses.
- Bowdoin dominated the Camels on Sunday, sweeping the top five positions. Ian Squiers (3-0), Satya Butler (3-1), George Cooley (3-0), Gannon Leech (3-1) and Tyler Shonrock (3-1) claimed victories at the top of the ladder.
- The Polar Bears also got wins at positions 6-9 from Drew Clark (3-0), Arjun Dravid (3-0) and Max Wiegand (3-1).
