BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College men's squash players Matthew Cooper and Ian Squiers have earned All-New England Small College Athletic Conference recognition.

The duo was tabbed as Second Team selections in league awards voted on by the conference coaches.

It is the second-straight All-Conference award for Cooper, a senior from Merion Station, Pa. The number two player for the Polar Bears this year, he collected six wins against some of the top competition in the country.

First-year Ian Squiers, a native of Dayton, Ohio, made an immediate impact in his debut campaign with the Polar Bears. Squiers played exclusively at the number one position for Bowdoin, recording a pair of wins against the nation's top players.

The Polar Bears finished the year ranked 24th in the nation.
