BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's squash team has been seeded seventh for the 2016 New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship Tournament scheduled to begin Friday at Trinity College.

The Polar Bears (5-11) will battle tenth-seeded Hamilton (4-12) in a first round match on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m.

Bowdoin owns a pair of wins against NESCAC opponents this season, including an 8-1 win over the Continentals on January 23. The Polar Bears have reached the quarterfinal round each year of the NESCAC Championship, but has not advanced to the semifinals since 2010. Hamilton aims to play in its second quarterfinal round in five years, with its most recent quarterfinal appearance coming in 2013. Last year, the programs squared off in the first round, with No. 8 Bowdoin coming out on top by the score of 8-1.

The winner of Friday's match advances to Saturday's quarterfinal round against Middlebury at 10:30 a.m. The loser will fall to the consolation bracket where they will have a match at 12:15 p.m. Saturday.
