    BRUNSWICK, Maine - Thirty-nine Bowdoin student-athletes have been awarded NESCAC All-Academic recognition in honors announced this week. To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached junior academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35.

The Jumbos clinch the Tufts (8-5-1, 4-5 NESCAC) is the #6 seed in the conference tournament. They will play at #3 Trinity in the first round on Sunday at noon. Bowdoin (6-7, 4-5 NESCAC) got in as the eighth seed and will travel to #1 Middlebury on Sunday for a noontime start.

It was the sixth straight victory for the Beavers, ranked fourth in New England, as they improved to 13-4-1, while the Polar Bears dropped to 6-6-0 with the loss.
