BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin defender Henry Savage (Marblehead, Mass.) has been recognized in honors handed out by the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association and U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
Savage, who was named Second Team All-NESCAC earlier this month, was named Third Team All-New England by NEILA and an Honorable Mention All-American by the USILA.
A sophomore, the Polar Bear defenseman saw action in 13 games for the Polar Bears this spring, ranking third on the team with 17 caused turnovers and fifth on the squad with 32 ground balls. Through two seasons, Savage has racked up 55 ground balls and 28 caused turnovers.
