2018 Recap (8-7): After a pair of season-opening losses, Bowdoin caught fire and won eight consecutive games. However, a five game losing streak to end the season put the Polar Bears in a tough spot as they bowed out in the opening round of the NESCAC Tournament. Graduated seniors Parker Sessions and Matthew Crowell along with Sam Carlin earned USILA All-American recognition.
2019 Preview: Due to numerous injuries in the second half of last season, Bowdoin returns a young but experienced squad this spring. Faceoff specialist Sam Carlin will be on the dot again this season for the Polar Bears, who also return attackman Jimmy Young (17 goals, 18 assists) and defender Caleb Geitz (16 caused turnovers, 28 ground balls).
Bowdoin will again play one of the toughest schedules in Division III, opening on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. against Connecticut College. March home games also include a league contest against Hamilton (Mar. 16) and a non-conference tilt against Endicott (Mar. 27). Three big NESCAC home games will come in April, including a night game against Bates on April 3, Senior Day against Wesleyan on April 13 and the regular season finale against Tufts on April 24.
