• Men's Lacrosse Coach Tom McCabe To Steer Final Season in 2012

    BRUNSWICK, Maine – Long-time head coach Tom McCabe has announced that the 2012 season will be his last at the helm of the Bowdoin men’s lacrosse program. McCabe, who has led the program since 1991, will step down following the completion of this season to join his wife Pat, an elementary physical education teacher in Brunswick, in the Peace Corps.

    BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College men's lacrosse players Owen Smith (Brunswick, Maine) and Matthew Egan (Newton, Mass.) have been recognized in honors announced by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association earlier this week. Both players garnered Honorable Mention All-American nods while Smith was also tabbed as All-Scholastic.

The seventh-seeded Polar Bears, who had defeated Tufts 15-9 to finish the regular season on April 29, likely finish their season at 8-7.
