    BRUNSWICK, Maine - Maine native Jamie Dumont has returned to the Bowdoin Athletic Department as an assistant coach for the Polar Bear men's ice hockey team. No stranger to the College, Dumont served as an assistant for Bowdoin from 2001-2005.

    BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College men's ice hockey players Kyle Shearer-Hardy (Montreal, Que.) and Daniel Weiniger (Warren, N.J.) have been named All-Americans by the American Hockey Coaches Association. With his second-straight First Team honor, Shearer-Hardy becomes just the sixth player in school history to earn multiple All-American nods. Weiniger earned his first-ever All-American choice as a Third Team selection.

Messina backstopped the Polar Bears to their first-ever conference crown by turning aside 70 shots over two victories last weekend.
