Men's Golf Finishes 19th at Highly-Competitive Williams Invitational

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Bowdoin College men's golf team improved three positions in the second round to finish in a tie for 19th at the Williams Invitational at Taconic Golf Club this weekend.

Tournament Highlights

  • Sitting in 22nd place among 25 teams after day one, Bowdoin improved six shots on Sunday to jump three teams into 19th.
  • Favian Basnawi was the top individual for Bowdoin over the weekend, shooting a 75 on Sunday to finish at 157 in 57th place.
  • Reed Foehl shot a two-day total of 162 to end in 87th while Tom Dunleavy and Jackson Harrower tied for 94th with identical 164s.
  • Matt McCarthy rounded out the Polar Bear competitors with a score of 168.
