BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin men's basketball senior Lucas Hausman (Westport, Conn.) has been honored for his work on the court and in the classroom by being named to the Academic All-District Men's Basketball team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Hausman, the 2015 New England Small College Athletic Conference Player of the Year, is one of the most prolific scorers in Division III basketball. He ranks tops in the NESCAC and among the top ten in D-III at 25.0 points per game. Entering play this weekend his 1,400 points rank seventh all-time at Bowdoin and he owns two of the top four single-game scoring outputs in school history (44, 42).

He has been named All-NESCAC, All-New England and All-American in his career and currently owns a 3.53 GPA in Economics. He was the only NESCAC player selected All-District. 

Hausman will be included on the ballot for the Academic All-America team, which will be announced later this month.
