The Owls managed to send Swords to the bench with a pair of early fouls.   Trailing 12-11, the Owls got jumpers from Andre King and Brian Foley, and a three-pointer by Jesus Sanchez to go up 18-12 with 8:51 left in the first half.

Bowdoin chipped away at the host's advantage, seizing the lead, 28-26, on a Bryan Hurley three-pointer with 1:03 left in the first half, and held a 30-28 lead at the break.

The Polar Bears continued to edge away early in the second half.   Leading 35-33 with 18:15 to play, Bowdoin used an 8-0 run, fueled by four points from Swords, to push the lead to 10 points.

Westfield cut the lead to five, at 46-41 after an Allister Williams three pointer and a layup from Robby Jones, with 11:33 to play, but that was as close as the Owls would come.  Bowdoin answered with an 11-2 spurt of its own to regain a comfortable lead.
