Millett, Ward Earn All-NESCAC Football Honors

BRUNSWICK, Maine – A pair of Bowdoin College football players have earned All-New England Small College Athletic Conference recognition in awards announced by the league on Tuesday.

Sophomore tight end Bo Millett (Marblehead, Mass.) and first-year kick returner Brendan Ward (Marshfield, Mass.) both collected Second Team All-Conference honors.

Millett ranked sixth in the NESCAC in yards receiving (56.6 yards/game) and finished the year with 30 catches for 396 yards and five touchdowns. Millett saved his best for the final weeks of the season, as he caught 15 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns against Bates and Colby.

Brendan Ward racked up 639 kick return yards, including a school-record 98-yard kickoff return against Hamilton. Also seeing action in all nine games at tailback for Bowdoin, Ward finished with 312 yards rushing and a team-best 974 all-purpose yards on the year.
