BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin senior forward
Tyler Huck was named NESCAC Player of the Year, and two more Polar Bear men's soccer players earned all-conference honors for the 2025 season.
Huck (Ross, Calif.) was named First Team All-NESCAC for the third consecutive year and capped a career that started with Rookie of the Year honors in 2022. Junior
Jack Banks (Brunswick, Maine) also earned First Team accolades for the first time in his career. Sophomore
Liam Myers (Wilmette, Ill.) received Second Team recognition.
Huck has been the centerpiece of Bowdoin's success, leading the team with 10 goals and seven assists. Over his four-year career, Huck has totaled 31 goals, 18 assists, and 80 points—ranking third all-time at Bowdoin in each category.
Defense has been Bowdoin's calling card this fall. The Polar Bears rank 12th nationally in goals against, allowing just 10 all season and none to non-conference opponents. Banks and Myers anchor the back line. Bowdoin has posted six shutouts this season and went the entire month of October without allowing a goal.
Bowdoin hosts an NCAA Regional with a first round game against Lyon on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
