BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's tennis team started its 2015-16 season by hosting the Bowdoin Invitational at Pickard Tennis Courts.

The field consisted of predetermined singles and doubles matches against Division I programs Marist and Quinnipiac.

Highlights

• The Polar Bears more than held their own against the high-level competition, recording a 18-18 overall record for the weekend.
• Luke Trinka and Luke Tercek were outstanding for the weekend, both racking up 5-1 records including 2-1 as a doubles pairing.
• Trinka lost a total of 10 games in six sets against his singles competition while Tercek lost one singles set.
