Williams will serve as the host school for the first time since 2007 with the men's race scheduled for noon and the women slated for a 1 p.m. start.
Last year in Franklin Park, the Polar Bear men finished sixth while the women took seventh at the conference championship. Sophomore Andrew Meredith (Haddam, Conn.) has been the leader for the Bowdoin men's team in 2019. He started the season with a pair of top-10 finishes, placing fifth at the Bowdoin Invitational (26:49.50) and was seventh at the Maine State Meet (26:29.5). In the team's final tune-up for the NESCAC Championship, Meredith posted a time of 26:33.0 as the Polar Bears took first on their home course.
Senior Caroline Shipley (Andover, Mass.) won the Maine State Meet (19:10.2) to lead the Bowdoin women's team to runner-up honors earlier this fall. She also finished 17th at the NEICAAA Championship (18:12.4) where the Polar Bears placed ninth. Shipley was the runner-up (23:13.5) in the final race before the NESCAC Championships in Brunswick, Maine.
Complete results will be posted on the Bowdoin Athletics site on Saturday afternoon.
