BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin College has announced the hiring of Katie Greene as Assistant Athletic Director for Operations.
Greene has extensive collegiate athletic administrative background, most recently at New England College, where she served as Associate Director of Athletics. Prior to that, Green was the Associate A.D. and head women's basketball coach at Mount Ida College, the Director of Basketball Operations at Brown University and Assistant A.D., and Senior Woman Administrator and head women's basketball coach at Newbury College.
"Katie will bring a tremendous wealth of coaching and administrative experience to Bowdoin and we are excited to welcome her to our community," said Ashmead White Director of Athletics Tim Ryan. "Katie's experience as a Senior Woman Administrator will enhance our administrative team and her passion for supporting student-athletes and coaches will be of considerable benefit to our department in the years ahead."

Greene will assume a number of administrative roles within the department including oversight of day to day and future budget operations, scheduling, game management and oversight of student employees while serving as a member of the senior management team.
