BRUNSWICK, Maine - Three members of the Bowdoin men's and women's cross country teams have been honored in All-Conference awards announced by the New England Small College Athletic Conference on Tuesday.

Junior Sarah Kelley (Winnetka, Ill.) was named First Team All-Conference from the Bowdoin women's team while seniors Matthew Jacobson (Westfield, Mass.) and Nick Walker (Lyme, Conn.) earned Second Team All-Conference honors for the Polar Bear men.

It is the first All-NESCAC honor for all three runners, who garnered automatic All-Conference status based on their finishes at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship last weekend. Kelley was the top finisher for either Polar Bear team, taking sixth individually in the women's 6K race in a time of 23:07.2. Matthew Jacobson was Bowdoin's top male finisher, taking 11th individually in a time of 26:20.3 while Nick Walker took 14th in 26:25.4.

The Polar Bears will return to action on November 12 at the New England Division III Regional Championship hosted by Connecticut College.
