BRUNSWICK, Maine - Former Bowdoin All-American Elsa Millett has joined the Polar Bear coaching staff for the fall of 2012.
She will assist for men's and women's cross country and indoor track.
Millett just concluded a sensational career that saw her win three consecutive NESCAC championships in the 400 meters and back-to-back titles in the 200 meters. As a senior, she was awarded the Frank Sabasteanski Award for the Most Outstanding Female Performer at the NESCAC Championship, becoming the first Polar Bear to garner the award since 1993. She also twice earned All-American honors at NCAA Championships in her career and holds several school records upon graduation.
The Manchester, Connecticut native was an Academic All-NESCAC selection who graduated with a degree in Gender & Women's Studies and a minor in Visual Arts.
