BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's cross country team has earned an at-large bid to this weekend's NCAA Division III championship in the field announced on Sunday evening.

The Polar Bears, who raced to a third-place finish at the New England Division III Championship Saturday at Pickard Field, are one of five NESCAC men's teams to make the field. Bowdoin is ranked 14th in the latest Division III poll.

Although the women's team did not qualify for the field, Bowdoin did earn a pair individual nods. Sophomore Madelena Rizzo, on the heels of her 10th-place finish at the New England Championship, earned automatic qualification while Olivia MacKenzie, who finished 16th at the regional and ninth two weeks ago at the NESCAC Championship, was chosen as an at-large selection.

The Wisconsin-Oshkosh will host the championships, Nov. 19, at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wis. The women's race will begin at noon ET followed by the men's race at 1 p.m. ET. Complete meet information is available here.
