BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's volleyball team has announced its schedule for the 2013 season.
Coming off the two most successful seasons in program history, the Polar Bears will look to continue their emergence when they debut at the Endicott College Tournament September 6-7. The Polar Bears will see tournament action at the MIT Invitational (September 13-14) and the Hall of Fame Tournament (October 25-26).
Bowdoin will play just six home matches at Morrell Gymnasium this fall, opening with a pair of matches on September 28 against Brandeis and Colby-Sawyer. A year after its first NESCAC Championship, the Polar Bears posted a school-record 28 wins in 2012 and advanced to the Regional Final of the NCAA Division III Tournament. Head coach Karen Corey will enter her eighth season at the helm of the Polar Bears this autumn with Ellie Brennan and Taylor Vail serving as captains for the squad.
Game times are subject to change and plans for live coverage of home matches will be released later this summer.
