Bowdoin Set To Host 2011 Midcoast Volleyball Classic This Weekend
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's volleyball team will host the 2011 Midcoast Classic this weekend at Morrell Gymnasium.
The tournament will feature a Pine Tree/Granite State rivalry, as Bowdoin, Bates, Rivier (Nashua, N.H.) and Colby-Sawyer (New London, N.H.) comprise the four-team field.
The action starts Friday evening when the Polar Bears host Colby-Sawyer and Bates plays host to Rivier. Both matches are slated for 7:00 p.m. The tourney continues on Saturday with all matches at Bowdoin's Morrell Gymnasium beginning at 11:00 a.m. All matches are free admission.
