BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin's Kellen Alberstone has earned a bid to the NCAA Division III Individual women's tennis championship in selections announced by the NCAA on Wednesday.
Alberstone, Bowdoin's top singles player, is currently ranked fourth in the latest ITA Northeast rankings. A two-time All-American in singles play, she is one of just 32 singles players to qualify for the individual tournament. Pairings will be announced closer to the event.
The individual national championship tournament will run from May 23-25 at Stowe Stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Alberstone and the Polar Bears will host an NCAA Regional beginning Friday, May 9. Complete tournament information is available at the tournament homepage.
