Bowdoin Dominates Singles Play in Victory Over Whitman
AZUSA, Calif. - The Bowdoin College women's tennis team
dominated Whitman in an 8-1 win on Tuesday. The Polar Bears, who
swept the singles matches, improve to 5-1 overall and are ranked
16th in Division III.
The Polar Bears lost just one set in singles play and claimed two
of three doubles matches in the victory. Kellen Alberstone won at
#1 singles and teamed with Brett Davis to take #1 doubles. Nikki
Kuna and Chantalle Lavertu won at #3 doubles and also claimed
points at #5 and #3, respectively.
