Swimmers Compete in Non-Scoring Maine Event at Bates
LEWISTON, Maine - Members of the Bowdoin College men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed at the Maine Event hosted Saturday by Bates.
Winners included JR Chansakul in the 200 IM (2:00.25), John Lagasse in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.48) and Chris Granata in the 200 butterfly (1:56.83).
Sasha Kramer was the lone member of the women's team ro race, competing in a pair of sprint freestyle events. She placed second in the 50 free in 27.47.
The Polar Bears' full squad will return to action at the NESCAC Championships over the next two weeks. The women's team will race in the conference meet beginning this Friday at Williams. The men's team will host the league championship the following weekend at Greason Pool, beginning February 21.
