CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's squash team cruised past Georgetown, 9-0, in the opening round of the Epps Division at the Team National Championships Friday afternoon at Harvard.
The Polar Bears (7-11) advance to the semifinals on Saturday where they will play Mount Holyoke at Harvard on Saturday afternoon.
- The Polar Bears weren't challenged, earning 3-0 sweeps at the top six positions in the victory.
- Lindsey Bindra, Tully Ross, Lex Horwitz, Diya Chopra, Zoe Wood and Natasha Belsky accounted for the shutout wins at the top of the ladder.
- Caroline Burkhart (3-1), Hannah Cooke (3-2) and Rose Warren (3-2) rounded out the Bowdoin winners at spots seven through nine.
- Bowdoin will battle Mount Holyoke at 1:45 on Saturday afternoon. It will be the second meeting of the year between the squads as the Polar Bears took a 7-2 win over the Lyons on January 27.
