CLINTON, N.Y. - The Bowdoin College women's squash team split a pair of matches in upstate New York last weekend.
The 24th-ranked Polar Bears stand at 2-2 this season after falling to 26th-ranked Hamilton 6-3 and defeating Colgate 8-1.
- Bowdoin won at the top three positions against Hamilton, earning 3-0 sweeps thanks to Lindsey Bindra, Tully Ross and Lex Horwitz.
- The Polar Bears handled Colgate with relative ease, earning 3-0 wins at the top seven positions and getting a 3-1 victory from Jeannie Davis at number eight.
- Bindra, Ross, Horwitz, Zoe Wood, Natasha Belsky, Mariela Mendoza and Caroline Burkhart accounted for the other Bowdoin points in the victory.
- The Polar Bears will finish up their first semester schedule with a pair of matches at MIT on Saturday against Wellesley (12:00) and Boston College (1:30).
