BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin College women's soccer players Julia Patterson and Morgen Gallagher have been recognized in All-Region awards announced by the United Soccer Coaches this week.

Julia Patterson (Hingham, Mass.) was tabbed as a First Team All-New England performer while Morgen Gallagher (Norwell, Mass.) earned Third Team All-New England recognition.

Starting all 16 matches, Patterson finished tied for the team lead with ten points, including two game-winning goals. She finishes her career with 16 goals and 14 assists in 68 career contests and is the fourth Bowdoin women's soccer player to be named First Team All-NESCAC three times, joining Kendall Cox '05, Ann Zeigler '08 and Ellery Gould '12.

Morgen Gallagher started all 16 matches, scoring four goals, including a game-winner. She has 12 career goals and seven career assists through 68 matches. The 2016 NESCAC Rookie of the Year, she was named a Second Team All-NESCAC performer this autumn.

Bowdoin reached the NESCAC Quarterfinals this season, ending with a record of 7-7-2.
