Zeigler Named All-American
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College sophomore Ann Zeigler (Washington, D.C.) has been named as a Third-Team All-American selection by the NSCAA in selections announced late last week. The forward led the Polar Bears in scoring this season as Bowdoin reached the NESCAC Semifinals for the sixth straight season and finished with a 10-5-1 mark.

Women's Soccer Players Earn NESCAC Honors
BRUNSWICK, Maine - A pair of seniors and sophomores from Bowdoin's women's soccer team earned NESCAC recognition in postseason honors announced on Thursday. Senior midfielder Kelsey Wilcox (#10, Cumberland, Maine) and sophomore forward Ann Zeigler (#20, Washington, D.C.) captured First-Team honors, while Anna Shapell (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) and Kat Whitley (Birmingham, Ala.) grabbed Second-Team honors. The Polar Bears reached the NESCAC Semifinals for the sixth straight season and finished with a 10-5-1 mark this year.

Zeigler Named Player of the Week
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College women's soccer player Ann Zeigler (Washington, D.C.) has been named the NESCAC's Women's Soccer Player of the Week for her efforts in a pair of Bowdoin victories last week. The Polar Bears (10-4-1) are in the NESCAC Semifinals for the fifth straight season and will play Bates at Tufts University on Saturday. Gametimes will be announced on Tuesday.

Women's Soccer Gets New Game Field
BRUNSWICK, Maine - For the Bowdoin College women's soccer team, the grass has never been greener. The Polar Bear women's soccer team, which has called their current Pickard Field location home for the past 19 seasons has moved from its long-time location in the outfield of the baseball field to a soccer-only pitch that will serve as a central location for the future of Bowdoin's athletic complex.

Shapell Named Player of the Week
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin women's soccer goalkeeper Anna Shapell (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) has been named NESCAC Player of the Week for her efforts in two victories last weekend. Shapell, a graduate of Waynflete School, played 157 minutes of scoreless soccer between the pipes for the Polar Bears, who will return to action Saturday when they host rival Colby.
