Randi London Named New England Small College Player of the Week
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin women's rugby sophomore Randi London has been named the Player of the Week by the New England Small College Rugby Conference.
London, who played at eightman for the Polar Bears, helped lead the team to a staggering 65-0 victory over Williams last Saturday. Over the course of the sixty-minute game, London provided stability to the scrum, and was a defensive force with well-timed tackles and good field positioning The sophomore also kicked four successful conversions on the day, making her the highest scoring player of the weekend's match-ups, with 13 points.
Bowdoin will return to action this weekend with a match at Bates. Kick-off is slated for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
