Women's Lacrosse Earns At-Large NCAA Tournament Bid

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's lacrosse team has captured an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament and earned a first-round bye. The Polar Bears will host Stevens in a second round game on Sunday, May 13 at Ryan Field at 1:00 p.m.

The Polar Bears (13-5) earned an at-large bid after a fantastic season that saw them advance to the New England Small College Athletic Conference championship game today against Middlebury. Bowdoin, currently ranked 13th in the latest IWLCA Division III poll, defeated 14th-ranked Wesleyan and second-ranked Amherst before falling to sixth-ranked Middlebury in the finals.
