Gorajek Named NESCAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Carolyn Gorajek had eight goals and an assist last week to earn NESCAC honors

BRUNSWICK, Maine- Bowdoin senior Carolyn Gorajek (Hightstown, N.J.) has been named the NESCAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week.
Gorajek tallied four goals in Bowdoin's 16-4 win over University of New England last week. She also netted four goals and an assist in the Polar Bear's 11-4 conference win over visiting Amherst on Saturday.
Gorajek leads the NESCAC with 12 goals this season, and has accumulated 135 career marks. The senior attacker is just ten goals shy of the school record held by Jill Bermingham Isenhart '86. Her 181 career points rank fourth all-time at Bowdoin and just 22 off the program's mark (203 held by Adrienne Gratry '00).
The eleventh ranked Polar Bears have started the season on a 3-0 run, including a pair of conference victories over Conn. College and Amherst. Bowdoin's Tuesday game against Endicott has been postponed until April 7 due to weather. The Polar Bears look to continue their streak as they travel to Hamilton for a 12:00 PM game on Saturday.
