About the Program
The Bowdoin's men's squash team is consistently one of the best programs in the country, and has the facility to match. The program was instituted in 1967, and has boasted numerous winning seasons, including the Summers Division National Championship in 1993-94.
More recently, the program ranks high among its NESCAC rivals and placed 13th at Nationals in 2007-08. Tomas Fortson, hired in 2000 as the squash coach at Bowdoin, has brought a contagious energy to the program. Competing against some of the nation's best programs in an all-division format, the team also hosts one sanctioned USSRA tournament and a handful of collegiate tournaments per year.
