Men's Hockey Caps Comeback in Overtime to Stun Babson
BABSON PARK, Mass. – Bowdoin first-year Daniel Weiniger scored two goals and sophomore Jordan Lalor netted the game-winner in overtime to cap off the Polar Bears’ thrilling 3-2 comeback win over host Babson College in an ECAC East/NESCAC contest at the Babson Skating Center on Saturday afternoon. With the win, Bowdoin improved to 2-0-0 overall and 2-0-0 in NESCAC play.

Men's Ice Hockey Dims Beacons in Season Debut
BOSTON, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's ice hockey team scored three times late in the first period en route to an eventual 5-3 win over UMass-Boston in their season debut on Friday. Graham Sisson and Ryan Blossom scored two goals apiece to lead the Polar Bears to victory.

Bowdoin Inducts Eighth Class into Athletic Hall of Honor
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College Athletic Hall of Honor welcomed its eighth group of inductees on Homecoming Saturday, October 17. The recipients span nearly five decades of excellence and encompass seven different Bowdoin athletic teams. This year's class includes Harold "Bud" White '39, Alex Schulten '66, Dick Donovan '73, Kirk Hutchinson '82 and Susan Leonard Toll '85.

Hockey Teams Announce 2009-10 Schedules
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College ice hockey teams have announced their schedules for the 2009-10 season. With a significant amount of talent returning for each squad, the first full season at Sidney J. Watson Arena promises to be an exciting one for the Polar Bears. As with all Bowdoin regular-season sporting events, every men's and women's ice hockey game is free of charge.
