BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin senior Julie Dachille (Venetia, Pa.) has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Ice Hockey Player of the Week.

Dachille scored a hat trick on Saturday as the Polar Bears earned a win and a tie at Connecticut College last weekend. After a 1-1 tie on Friday night, Dachille rallied the Polar Bears to a win on Saturday, netting the game-tying goal in the second period and the eventual third period game-winner in a 5-4 victory.

It is the second NESCAC Player of the Week honor for Dachille this season, who also earned the honor on December 11. She has netted a team-best 12 goals this season for Bowdoin, including a trio of game-winners, and has totaled 38 goals and 25 assists in 82 games in her career.

Bowdoin will close out their regular season this week with a non-conference game at Endicott on Tuesday night (7:00 p.m.) before returning home on Friday and Saturday with a Senior Weekend set against Trinity.
