SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's golf team recorded an 11th-place finish at the Mount Holyoke Invitational this weekend at the Orchards Golf Club.
Competing in one of the top tournaments in the region, the Polar Bears competed well in the 14-team field, placing fourth of six NESCAC teams.
Leading the way this weekend for Bowdoin was Ursula Munger, who carded a fantastic 84 on Sunday to finish the weekend at 183 (99-84) and a tie for 53rd place. Taylor Guiffre ended in 64th place with a 192 (97-95), Emily Quirk was 66th with a 195 (99-96) and Kendall Kyritz carded a 196 to finish in a tie for 67th (92-104).
Bowdoin will continue its season next weekend as they travel to Vermont for the Middlebury Invitational.
