Polar Bears Finish Eighth at Williams Classic

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Facing their most competitive field of the season, the Bowdoin College women's golf team played at the Williams Classic this weekend, earning eighth place overall. The Polar Bears were paced by Chelsea Gross, who finished in 28th place individually with a two-day score of 190.

At the challenging Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Gross carded back-to-back scores of 93-97 to lead the Polar Bears. Taylor Giuffre finished in 35th with a score of 206. Emily Quirk (39th, 211), Samantha Shane (41st, 216) and Chelsea Young (45th, 239) rounded out the Bowdoin finishers.
