Polar Bears Finish Eighth at Williams Classic
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Facing their most competitive field of the season, the Bowdoin College women's golf team played at the Williams Classic this weekend, earning eighth place overall. The Polar Bears were paced by Chelsea Gross, who finished in 28th place individually with a two-day score of 190.

Polar Bears Win at Bates, Gross and Young Place First
AUBURN, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's golf team continued their string of victories, defeating Bates at Martindale Golf Club on Saturday, 360-372. The Polar Bears were led by three players in the 80's, including co-medalists Chelsea Gross and Chelsea Young, who both shot an 86.

Bowdoin Places First at Maine-Farmington Invitational
FARMINGTON, Maine - Paced by a first-place finish from Chelsea Gross, the Bowdoin College women's golf team picked up their second win in as many weeks at the Maine-Farmington Invitational at Wilson Lakes Country Club on Sunday. Bowdoin scored 369 to defeat Bates, who finished with a 397.

Gross Earns Medalist Honors at Bowdoin Blast
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's golf team was impressive in their season debut at Brunswick Golf Club on Saturday. Chelsea Gross took medalist honors with a score of 84 (+12). In a dual match between Bowdoin and Bates, the Polar Bears edged Bates by 10 strokes (392-402).

2010 Bowdoin Men's and Women's Golf Season Preview
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College golf teams will take to the links this weekend at Brunswick Golf Club as they open their 2010 seasons with home tournaments. The Polar Bear men will host the Bowdoin Invitational this Saturday and Sunday, while the women open with the Bowdoin Blast on Saturday.

Gerry Caron Named Head Women's Golf Coach at Bowdoin
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Brunswick native Gerry Caron has been named as the new head women's golf coach at Bowdoin College. Caron and the Polar Bears will open their 2010 schedule at home on September 11. A golf instructor with a dozen years of experience in the Midcoast Area, Caron has spent the last four years at the Highland Green Golf Club in Topsham.
