Polar Bears Second at Maine-Farmington Invite

WILTON, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's golf team placed second in the Maine-Farmington Invitational at Wilson Lake Golf Club on Sunday afternoon. Rival Bates edged the Polar Bears as the top five scorers for each team accounted for the final result.

Bates won the competition with a 381 followed by Bowdoin at 433. Chelsea Gross took sixth place individually (100) while Lindsay Luke (108) finished in eighth place overall. Libby Spalding (109) was ninth with Chelsea Young (115) 12th and Molly Nestor (121) 14thto round out the Bowdoin scorers.
