Women's Golf Hosts Third Annual Bowdoin Blast

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's golf team battled through damp afternoon conditions to host the third annual Bowdoin Blast at Brunswick Golf Club on Saturday. With individual competitors from Bates, Bowdoin, Maine-Farmington and Saint Anselm, Mimi Neal of Bates posted a 90 to claim medalist honors.

In a dual-match between Bowdoin and Bates, the Bobcats also came away victorious by a cumulative score of 384-414. Bates posted the top three individual scores overall courtesy of Neal, Whitney Roller (92) and Tessa Pals (94). The host Polar Bears were paced by first-year Chelsea Gross, who carded a 95 in her collegiate debut.
