Women's Golf Announces 2009 Schedule
BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's golf team has announced their 2009 schedule, featuring six events this September and October. The Polar Bears, who will be captained by Lindsay Luke and Chelsea Young, open the campaign by hosting the Bowdoin Blast on September 12 at Brunswick Golf Club.

NESCAC Announces Fall All-Academic Team Honorees
BRUNSWICK, Maine - Thirty-nine Bowdoin student-athletes have been awarded NESCAC All-Academic recognition in honors announced this week. To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached junior academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35.

Golf Teams Finish Second at CBB Tournament
LEWISTON, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's golf team placed second at the CBB Tournament on Sunday at Martindale Golf Club. The Polar Bears trailed winning Bates by just two strokes 414-416. Colby finished a distant third at 430.

Polar Bears Compete at Wellesley Invitational
WELLESLEY, Mass. - Two members of the Bowdoin College golf team played in the Wellesley Invitational this weekend. Chelsea Young carded a 118 to finish in 39th place while Lindsay Luke scored 125 and finished 41st.

Bowdoin Opens Season With Home Event
TOPSHAM, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's golf team opened their 2008 campaign by hosting the Bowdoin Blast Invitational at Topsham Highlands on Saturday. The Polar Bears finished second among four squads, with Bates claiming the title.
