Six Sailors Recognized as All-Academic By Intercollegiate Sailing Association

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Six Bowdoin sailors have been named to the 2013 Intercollegiate Sailing Association All-Academic Team.

The 2013 ICSA All-Academic Sailing Team recognizes collegiate sailors who have achieved excellence in national and inter-conference competition as well as excelling at the highest academic level for the 2012 – 2013 academic year. The All-Academic Sailing Team was inaugurated in 2006. A nominated sailor must have a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale), junior or senior academic standing and they must be a key starter or reserve on a school's sailing team.

Sarah Fiske '13 (Simsbury, Conn. - Economics)
Isabel Low '13 (Weston, Conn. - Neuroscience)
Ayaka Okawa '14 (Nagoya, Japan - Sociology)
Tom Peabody '14 (Alexandria, Va. - History)
Mae Speight '13 (Bar Harbor, Maine - Religion)
