Brunswick native Zach Stegeman has joined the Bowdoin coaching staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2011. A graduate of Yarmouth High School, Stegeman has an extensive background in the sport, having been a four-year carnival team member and senior captain at St. Lawrence, graduating with a B.A. in History in 2002. While at St. Lawrence he also served on the Student Athlete Advisory Council and spent a semester abroad studying in Denmark.

He has had previous ski coaching stints at Cape Elizabeth High School and North Yarmouth Academy. For the past five years, Stegeman has resided in Colorado, where he worked for USA Triathlon in Colorado Springs.
